Why should I donate, and where does my money go?

eairwoman was established in 2022 to give Australian women a fair go. The app was thoroughly researched, and the most up-to-date Financial Literacy information from the Australian Government and third-party sources was built into how it operates. Financial literacy is a core element of using the app and is researched and provided free to eairwoman subscribers. Subscription is free for women from 20 to 60 years of age.

Unlike other apps, eairwoman is funded privately and not through advertising, nor does it rely on selling data about users for profit. Instead, eairwoman is supported by its founders – people who believe financial literacy and retirement planning for women have been severely overlooked historically and continue to be overlooked. eairwoman is an app that is neutral, reliable, and keeps data secure and free from commercial interests.

Here are just some of the ways we use donations to sustain eairwoman and Financial Literacy:

Donation-1

Providing first-class technology infrastructure - To meet the needs of eairwoman users, we operate an international technology infrastructure comparable to the world’s largest commercial websites. This includes hosting costs like keeping our servers running, as well as significant, ongoing app engineering work to make sure eairwoman is reliable, secure, loads quickly, protects your privacy, and thousands of software updates affecting the software libraries we use are regularly maintained.

Donation-2

Ensuring your content and data are updated - Donations also allow us to dedicate engineering resources to ensure that you can access up-to-date financial literacy content, which is regularly reviewed and updated as Government regulations and published statistics change every month. Your retirement savings are affected by inflation data, interest rates, and a myriad of Government policies and changes, which require our databases to be updated constantly.

How can I donate? – The most common way to donate is using the donation form and any major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club, and others).

What is your donor Privacy Policy? – Click on “Make donation anonymous” on the second form in the donation dialogue.
